AWS Budgets - Monitor Cloud Spendings

  • You can use AWS Budgets to track and take action on your AWS costs and usage.
  • AWS Budgets enables simple-to-complex cost and usage tracking.
  • For example: Setting a monthly cost budget with a fixed target amount to track all costs associated with your account.
  • The purpose of this exercise is to setup a Budget to track usage cost, this task is one of the most important one when it comes to establishing new accounts and try to monitor and alerts on spending.

Exercise Requirements

  1. Log in as Root or a user which has access to the Budgets.
  2. Create a Budget
    1. You can Use a premade Template like "Zero spend budget" or "Monthly cost budget"
