This is the NIST Center for Neutron Research's central software repository for reduction of SANS, USANS, and VSANS data. This repository was migrated from svn on April 10, 2020.
The NCNR SANS reduction macros run in the commercial software suite Igor Pro. You do not need to purchase a license of Igor Pro to run the macros, the trial version will allow macros to operate. For more information, please visit https://www.nist.gov/ncnr/data-reduction-analysis/sans-software and the wiki pages for this project.
The current release is v8.07, released August 15, 2024.
Earlier versions are available in the Releases Section.
v7.98 was released in February, 2020. All releases v7.98 and previous are available on the old SVN host. All future releases will be made available here through GitHub.
Issue tracking, bug reports, feature requests, and general questions will be tracked here. The trac site at danse.chem.utk.edu/trac is no longer monitored and may be deactivated at any time.
If you used the macros to reduce and/or analyze your data, and plan to publish the data, please remember to include a citation:
