Welcome to ACARS Hub! ACARS Hub was born out of a desire to have a nice interface to monitor ACARS transmissions from the aircraft flying over your head.
ACARS are text messages sent from the planes, or to the planes, flying through the air. ACARS has mostly been between the aircraft and their company/airline, but modern air traffic systems are starting to use ACARS to send air traffic control instructions to aircraft.
