This is a smart heating system for houses. It has two sensors (temperature and humidity) and one actuator (radiators); many may be deployed into the house. It has a cloud application that interacts with the devices to offer certain functionalities, in particular:

  • It shows the system's status, i.e., each device's temperature, humidity, and radiator status.
  • It has two work modes: auto and manual. Manual mode lets set the radiator status (off, on, comfort); Auto mode lets set the desired temperature; each radiator automatically set its status based on the difference between the temperature registered and the desired one. In auto mode, is it not possible to manually set the radiator status.
  • It let assign a room to each sensor/radiator.

At the cloud application startup, the CoAP discovery starts to register deployed sensors and radiators.
