It still needs investigation and isolation of the issue, but it seems matplotlib raster math text is causing memory leaks at least as it is used in silx OpenGL backend (see https://gitlab.esrf.fr/bliss/bliss/-/issues/4539).
In the mean time, let's restore the previous implementation which use Qt when there is no tex math syntax.

Updated changelog and bumped version to prepare a v2.1.2 release
