Video Post processing Notes
We do not do much in the way of video editing or post-processing. It is all handled programmatically.
At SCALE, we recorded the following from 15 rooms:
- Video and sound from the cameras/sound system in the room
- slides. (Actually, video and maybe sound intercepted from the speaker's computer to the projector)
We may also have most of the presentation material; we encouraged speakers to copy their presentations to flash drives left at each podium.
During the live streams, the video from the camera is muxed with the video from the slides and streamed live to Youtube. The live stream is available on Youtube as a day-long video.
Michael Proctor-Smith is currently developing a workflow to enable segmenting the videos by session on Youtube.
However, nothing is perfect, so there is now a [Video Editing](Video Editing) page to explain additional video editing/post-processing/accountability, as it was done for SCALE 14x.
