I contribute on Bevy Engine as a maintainer on the Triage Team. My main tasks I do are:

  • Ensuring CI is maximally useful;
  • Triaging issues to help people easily find what they can work on with their skills and area of expertise;
  • Triaging PRs to help authors and reviewers easily see what needs to be done to round off the work;
  • Investigating issues to find the root causes;
  • Designing solutions to issues so that someone or myself can implement them;
  • Reviewing PRs for correctness and reproducibility;
  • Writing PRs to help the engine improve, of course!

The area I'd like to lead in is improving bevy's WGSL tooling and making those tools available to the ecosystem. I've therefore adopted wgsl-analyzer to that end.

While I would love to make open source development into a career, that's not currently the case. Sponsorship helps me move closer to that goal by making time spent on contributions even more rewarding!
