I live in Switzerland and work as consultant.
I do a lot of open source in my free time, and I promote open source in the commercial projects I'm involved, in order to encourage companies to contribute back.
I know lot of good developers who contributed a lot but one day they found out that it was affecting their job and stopped contributing, I fear one day I might arrive to the same conclusion so that's why I decided to try out the sponsorship as I think it would help me continuing delivering good quality open source projects and contributions.
I will happily continue contributing if I had 50 sponsors and able to set time aside exclusively for this purpose.
