Hi! ๐Ÿ˜€

I write and maintain software for the German Open Data and Civic Tech scene!

More than 10 years ago, I created the German FOI portal FragDenStaat.de and I still work on it and improve it most days โ€“ because maintenance of civil society transparency infrastructure is important to me.

In between I try to write and maintain various scrapers concerning ๐Ÿฎfarm subsidies in the EU, ๐Ÿ“ถgovernment databases of public information or ๐Ÿ“œeven the German Federal law gazette.

๐ŸšŠI run a nifty public transport visualization project (reboot coming soon!).

๐Ÿ“šI also love libraries and want to make their digital offerings more useful.

9 sponsors have funded stefanwโ€™s work.

@stefanw

I'm able to reduce hours at my day job to focus on my side projects!
