there is no way to select (or clear) notes by tag when the leftmost panel is collapsed. there seems to be no single-click action that will show tags and folders, or allow for filtering by tag when the leftmost panel is collapsed.
may I suggest to add a button that shows the tags and folders in a popup, somewhere around Search / Options?
