TabMon v1.2
This is release v1.2 of TabMon, a performance monitoring service for Tableau Server. For more information about what TabMon is and how to use it, see the README file.
TabMon v1.2 includes the following fixes and improvements:
- Sample timestamps are now written in UTC time, rather than local time. (Issue #109)
- Tableau Instrumentation JMX counters from Tableau Server versions 10.1/10.2+ are now correctly loaded. (Issue #126)
- An incorrect label on the memory dashboard in the sample workbooks has been fixed. (Issue #96)
- TabMon will now correctly start when configured to poll counters from remote machines whose Windows computer names differ from their DNS address prefix. Note that existing users who are upgrading will need to update their TabMon.config files to explicitly contain the "computerName" attribute. (Issue #99)
If you are a new user setting up TabMon for the first time, please follow the instructions in the user guide.
If you are an existing TabMon user upgrading from TabMon v1.0 or v1.1, please see the "Upgrading" section of the user guide before installing.
