Actually getting the output of the gem to become your MOTD is going to depend on your Linux distribution. Below is a list of Linux distributions which are expected to work, and how to configure them. If you do not see your distribution in the list, and you'd like to contribute, please document how you do it, and open an issue with the instructions.
