Change label for comm button to Hold for Expert as this is how it functions in the game with TP

Correct button label/function for expert mode, which is triggered by holding music on a real cab.

I can't find any good pictures of the machine and the manual is pretty useless, does the MUSIC button serve any purpose other than "hold it to enable expert mode"? Do you know where the Comm name even comes from? (might be internal naming, I can't find anything in the manual about it either)

The button names come from the test menu

I didn't realize but it does in fact seem like the game doesn't check the music button for shot shaping, but the comm button for some reason. Either way I think the buttons should have their names kept but rather the logic should be fixed.
This seems like a bug in the original game though. Even in the wiring diagram it has Music and Comm (labeled as Message in there) on the same spot

Update: sorry, was responding to Poliwrath, didn't realize EmiMidnight answered while I was typing, or I wouldn't have sent the following:

Once you get into a match, "music" button toggles music on and off. This works well with "music" button in TP.

Seems like real cab has a "message" button. Maybe "comm' is that "message" button and short for communication. Manual says "When playing a Remote Player, press the Message button to send messages to the other player."
