<p><em>Network throttling</em> is an intentional slowing down of internet speed. It is used to simulate user experience under low bandwidth conditions. This is useful from a testing perspective as developers and quality analysts get an understanding of how the website loads and functions when accessed from different network environments, especially environments wherein poor network speed is experienced.

This article demonstrates the method to enable the network throttling feature, with which testers can simulate poor network conditions while testing web applications using Testsigma.

##**How to record test steps using Testsigma’s Recorder for android:**

1. Open a pre-existing Android Project or create a new one under your Testsigma account.
2. Go to ‘Test Development > Test Cases’
3. Create a new Test Case. Let's name it ‘first test case’.
4. From your test case page, click on the record button:

5. The record button will launch the Recorder. Once you click the record button, another window will open up, where you can choose the device lab, version, device, and app for testing:

## **Steps to Record Test Steps for Android Using Recorder**
1. Navigate to **Create Tests > Test Cases**, click on **Create Test Case**.
