Docker
Currently there are two options:
-
Use the docker container kindly supplied by Linuxserver.io. Please ask any questions on that forum or their IRC: #linuxserver@freenode Please do not message me on reddit. If you raise an issue on GitHub I will relay that issue but direct contact to the maintainer should be preferred.
-
You can use the docker file supplied with the source build. It was not created by me. Take it as it is. I cannot support it because I know nothing about docker. See below for basic instructions.
Included with the source is build is a Dockerfile and a Docker Compose template to run this project within a Docker container. Prerequisites is to have Docker installed. If you'd like to run this within Docker Compose, you will need to have that installed as well. All of the following instructions for Docker assume you are in the root directory of this project.
- Run
$ docker build -t nzbhydra .
- Run
$ docker-compose build
-
Note that if you're using Docker Compose, there's no need to go through this step since running
docker-compose up
in the 'Running the container' step will also build the container in the same step.
- Run
$ docker run nzbhydra
- Run
$ docker-compose up
Once the container is up and running you should see output like the following:

At this point NZBHydra is running. If you are not using boot2docker or docker-machine, you should be able to go to http://127.0.0.1:5075 and interact with the UI.
If you are on a Windows or Mac and are using docker-machine or boot2docker (usually installed via Docker Toolbox), you will need to get the IP for that VM and go to that IP in the browser.
More information about getting the docker-machine IP is available here. If using boot2docker, the command to find the ip is $ boot2docker ip
