Malfunctional webcam

Run into the issue with a brand new Logitech C170 Webcam that caused the keyboard to stop responding when first activated.

Work-around:From Launchpad

1. (install guvcview using "sudo apt-get install guvcview" and) open guvcview
2. close guvcview
3. then open pidgin and the webcam works!

Command to test webcam:

 gst-launch-1.0 v4l2src device=/dev/video0 ! xvimagesink
