Timegrid is the web application (software piece) that runs the reservation platform. Timegrid.io is a website that runs Timegrid to provide a reservation platform for a certain marketplace.
As a site owner, you may run Timegrid in your own server to provide a booking platform for a certain marketplace. As a developer, you may take code pieces as long as you respect the license terms. As a business owner/service provider, you may implement online booking with no hassle through Timegrid.io.
Not just yet. Despite Timegrid is stable as a beta, it is still under heavy development. At this point we are working hard on preparing the release candidate for a reliable software piece suitable for commercial use.
Yes, as long as you keep authoring credits and release source-code according to the applied license.
When development was started, it was kind of difficult to find an open source full web application in Laravel one could learn from. Despite timegrid is an entire application, I have started extracting the reservation functions to a reusable package called Concierge.
