INSTALL

1. Add Nagios Console configuration Create file /etc/bacula/nagios-console.conf OR /etc/bareos/nagios-console.conf with content of

   Console { Name = nagios Password = "" } Director { Name = director DIRport = 9101 address = 127.0.0.1 Password = "" }

2. Add restricted user to bareos/bacula director.conf

   Console { Name = nagios Password = "" CatalogACL = MyCatalog CommandACL = status, .status, list JobACL = all }

3. Copy this script to '/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_bareos.pl'

4. Add 'check_bareos' command to nrep.cfg

echo "command[check_bareos]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_bareos.pl $ARG1$" >> /usr/local/nagios/etc/nrpe.cfg

5. Now add a nagios nrpe service check with parameter "-j "
