When will I be able to update Home-Assistant to the newest version? Is the release of the update coming soon to the community plugin on TrueNAS?

A Plugin UPDATE is typically not required to update Home Assistant or other included services. In this plugin, each service is installed in a separate python virtualenv.

A Plugin UPDATE is was for everything outside of the virtualenvs, like the system requirements, startup scripts and console menu.

Most of the time, you can update Home Assistant (and other services) as soon as a new version is released. Here we are updating the application inside each virtualenv. This can be done using the jail's console menu.
