Detailed Description

As a Systems Engineer an up to date architecture model is needed for better understanding and documentation of the autonomous driving system. Therefore each specialist group needs to check whether an architectural model is existing and if it is up to date. This enables the System Engineer to create a up to date overall view of the architecture. Also other specialist teams can easily understand how the system is working and if they can reuse anything or parts are missing.

The starting document for this task is architecture.md

As example there is the acting architecture document: Link

Check if it would be useful for your group to have something similar and if so create an architectural model of your controllers and decisions. This could help finding bugs or improvements.

Definition of Done

  • It is checked if the data on the architecture.md is correct
  • If there is an architectural model of your subsystem it is checked whether it is updated
  • If there is no architectural model you created one at paf/doc/your-subsytem/architecture_documentation.md
