Task Tracker is a simple desktop application built with Python's Tkinter library. It's designed to help you track the time spent on various tasks throughout the day. This application allows you to start a timer for a task, stop it when the task is completed, and view the total time spent on all tasks.

Features

  • Task Timing: Start and stop timing for individual tasks.
  • Task List: View a list of all completed tasks along with the time spent on each.
  • Total Time: View the total time spent on all tasks during the current session.
  • User-Friendly Interface: Easy-to-use graphical interface.

Requirements

Python 3.x
Tkinter (usually comes pre-installed with Python)

Installation

No installation is necessary. Just ensure you have Python installed on your system.

Usage

  • Start the Application: Run the script to open the Task Tracker window.
  • Enter a Task: Type the name of the task you're starting in the text field.
  • Start and Stop Tasks: Use the 'Start Task' and 'Stop Task' buttons to track the time spent on each task.
  • View Tasks and Time: The main window displays a list of all tasks and their corresponding times. The total time spent on tasks is displayed at the bottom.
