I have just pulled this branch to make the extension work in gnome-shell 3.26.
Any idea if this is getting into master any time soon?
I think this is important enough to warrant a new release, if I may be so bold.

I cloned this branch too to get it to work again.. I'm using GNOME Shell 3.26.1

@tflorio since this repository is pretty much dead, we have a fork of it which is on it's way to become the cannonical repository, that is going to start providing extensions.gnome.org releases.
