Work in progress.

Remaining:

  • convert examples to Yarn workspaces
  • include examples in yarn install
  • exclude examples from yarn build
  • fix broken examples
  • enable import/no-extraneous ESLint rule to examples

Rebased this, will land on master and see if we can avoid reverting it this time.
