Can we move the conversation to that issue so the conversation here can focus on whether this is the best way to fix the issue? It's a behavior that's been seen by many users, so I'm sure we can figure out what's missing from your reproduction so you can see the bug for yourself. |

I went ahead and added an option to toggle whether this should be enabled, but I suspect if you're using the vim keymap you will want to have this enabled so I can remove the setting and enable it for all if you'd prefer to keep the settings simple.
