R course - March 2023

This edition of the course was delivered to participants from the WB, UChicago's DIL, and government counterparts who were invited to the training. The content did not have significant revisions from the last edition.

R Course - May 2022

This edition of the course was delivered to WB staff. The main revisions of the contents were:

• "Intro to R programming" session was moved from session 6 to session 2
• Added a new session on R Markdown

R Course - Fall 2021

This edition of the course was delivered to WB staff. The main revisions of the contents are:

• Coding practices session was moved from last to second session and was renamed "Intro to R programming"
• Added map()
• Moved loops, apply(), and extraction operators to the annex

R Course - Spring 2021

This course was delivered to World Bank staff through OLC. The main revisions to the content are:

• Moved coding practices session to the last
• Added some content on libraries, file paths, and RStudio projects to Data Processing session
• Used learnr in some sessions to avoid changing windows while presenting
• Added an .Rproj file to the repo

R Course - Fall 2020

This course was delivered to World Bank staff through OLC. The main revisions to the content have been

• Data processing session was restructured to focus on tidyverse
• Data visualization session was restructured
• Descriptive analysis session was restructured
• Geospatial session was restructured to focus on sf

The presentation format has also changed and now uses Xaringan.

This version was delivered in June 2019 at the World Bank in Washington. It uses LaTeX and assumes advanced knowledge of Stata. The Spatial Data session was a 2-hour session.
