Chrome-based extension powered by Bionic Reading and AI to help people focus and read webpages. The extension has the following functionality:
- Toggle on and off Bionic reading
- Change the Fonts of the webpage
- Change the colour of the webpage to greyscale
- Focus mode that extracts only the text of the webpage onto a new tab
- AI summarizer that gives a summary of the whole webpage
- AI auto search function that searches any highlighted word or sentences.
- Fastread: The bionic reading algorithm used in fastread is what we based this project on.
- Article Extractor and Summarizer API: This is used for generating summaries from articles. It uses Natural Language Processing (NLP). We used this API for our summarizing feature.
- OpenAI: The API used for generating summaries and searching words in a sentence.
