I like building things, petting dogs, and spawning new hobbies every trimester (3D printing, woodworking, running, gardening, etc)
I'm a generalist software engineer (with a hardware background on embedded systems), with focus on backend, distributed systems, event-driven architecture and API design. I'm a bit fast paced, I love building things and owning implementation end to end, I think an engineer should be product-driven, opinionated, and always fight for simplicity in design.
Although most of my work experience is in Typescript/Node.js and Python, I believe programming languages are just tools, with pros and cons in different contexts, and they're relatively easy to pick up, in contrast with proper engineering principles, especially with current LLM tools.
