Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up and run Explora on your local machine.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed:

  • Node.js (v14 or later)
  • npm (for package management)
  • MongoDB (or an external MongoDB connection string)

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yugalkaushik/explora.git
    cd explora
    
  2. Install Dependencies

    npm install
  3. Set up environment variables

     AUTH0_BASE_URL='http://localhost:3000'
     AUTH0_ISSUER_BASE_URL= (auth0 url)
     AUTH0_CLIENT_ID (Auth0 client id)
     AUTH0_CLIENT_SECRET (client secret key)
     MONGODB_URI (mongodb string)
  4. Run the development server

    npm run dev
  5. Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser to view the application.
