The https://github.com/zfsonlinux/pkg-zfs repository have a HOWTO on how to install Debian GNU/Linux Wheezy on a ZFS root filesystem.

This is somewhat complicated and takes quite some time and require good knowledge in both Linux, Debian GNU/Linux and ZFS to get around troubles if (when?) something goes wrong.

Instead, this repo have added support for ZoL directly into the Debian GNU/Linux installer image by modifying the install image.

As soon as Debian GNU/Linux gets native support for ZoL, this repo will be dropped, but in the meantime, the install image can be found at

http://archive.zfsonlinux.org/debian/mini.iso
