Sample showcase
Cybervision is built for handling images from a Scanning Electron Microscope.
This section contains a few images generated by Cybervision - in a 3D PLY binary file. and a 2D depth map image.
Some demo (test) source images can be dowloaded from here. These images can be used as input data for Cybervision.
Image filenames contain the angle and series:
- 01+4.5 was collected with the tilt angle +4.5 degrees;
- 01-4.6 was collected with the tilt angle -4.6 degrees.
Some data is stored in the TIFF metadata: a more precise angle, scale and other details.
Only images with a matching number can be matched (e.g. 01 cannot be matched with 02).
This section contains resulting images and 3D models generated by Cybervision.
- macOS is supposed to view *.ply files natively in the Finder Quick Look, but only supports the ASCII format (examples in this page use the binary PLY format)
- Windows can view *.ply files in the 3D Viewer app
Other platforms can use the https://3dviewer.net online 3D viewer.
