### Further investigation
## What we changed

We reduced the length of the course pages by moving information to be accessible at the point of need.

When the design team did further investigation, we identified the following areas for improvement.
### Information for non-UK citizens

Information was presented to everyone that may only be relevant to some people, such as information for international candidates or those with disabilities and other needs.
Information for international candidates was presented to everyone, when it is only relevant to some people.

Information was presented to everyone that may only be relevant the first time they view a page, and not when they are trying to compare courses, such as information about the provider and accredited provider.
We moved this information into two collapsed sections.

These sections can be opened by candidates when the information is relevant to them.

### Information for those with disabilities

Information for those with disabilities and other needs was presented to everyone that may only be relevant to some people.

We moved this information to a separate page.

### List of school placements

The list of school placements was sometimes very long.

![Screenshot of the list of school placements on the course page](school-placements-before.png)

Information that was specific to the course was long paragraphs of text, rather than more structured or concise information.
We moved this list to a separate page.

### Information about the provider and accredited provider

Information about the provider and accredited provider was presented with the course information.

This makes it difficult when trying to compare courses.

![Screenshot of accredited provider section of the course page](about-accredited-provider.png)

We moved this information, including their contact details, to separate pages.

## What we are continuing to test

- Whether it’s helpful to further emphasise information such as the course fee or distance to the nearest school placement
