The Technical Advisory Board (TAB) is composed of members who possess a diverse set of skills and qualifications. These qualifications are essential to ensure that the TAB can effectively guide the OHDSI open source projects and make informed decisions.
Members of the TAB are expected to have one or more of the following qualifications:
- Expertise in Relevant Technical Domains: Demonstrable knowledge and experience in areas relevant to the OHDSI projects, such as data management, software development, healthcare informatics, or related fields.
- Track Record in Open Source Contributions/Sponsorship: A history of meaningful contributions to open source projects or sponsorship of open source initiatives. This demonstrates a commitment to the open source ethos and an understanding of collaborative development.
In addition to technical qualifications, TAB members should also exhibit the following attributes:
- Commitment to OHDSI's Success: A demonstrated dedication to the long-term success of the OHDSI community and its projects.
- Effectiveness in Collaborative Environments: The ability to work effectively in a diverse and distributed team, contributing to a collaborative and respectful environment.
For those interested in joining the TAB, an understanding and alignment with these qualifications and attributes are essential. Prospective members should engage with the OHDSI community and demonstrate their commitment and expertise through active participation and contributions.
