Cloning repository_records

Ethan Gruber edited this page Jul 12, 2017 · 1 revision

It is necessary to clone the Repository Records repo to the server. The triples associated with repositories (particularly the repository name) are integral to the functionality of the harvester, as the repository name is necessary for both the DPLA and Primo exports. Additionally, the name is required in queries for displaying harvested OAI-PMH sets in the Harvester Admin and public index pages.

  1. Clone the repository to /usr/local/projects
  2. Ensure that Tomcat has write permissions so the metadata can be edited: sudo chown -R tomcat7:tomcat7 repository_records
  3. After completing all steps for the Harvester deployment, log into the Admin Home as a user in the harvester-admin group and click the "Refresh Repository Metadata" in order to post the RDF into the triplestore.
