Treasure

  • Items are capped at +3 (without the exception of a few item types). Finding such items are rare and valuable.
  • No items give immunity. In it's place they will give saving throws. As an example, the Golden Circlet will give saving throws against mind-affecting spells instead of immunity to mind spells.
  • No permanent "Haste" items or items with "True Seeing", "Freedom of Movement", etc.
  • Unique loot (over 600+). Most loot is handpicked and ported from cRPG classics such as Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, other Neverwinter Nights modules/campaigns, and etc. Expect to find something like Taralash or Carsomyr in the treasure tables!

Rarity

  • Some item types are more common than the other. As an example, a scimitar will be more rarer to find than a bastard sword, long sword, or battleaxe. Another example is full plate is much more rarer to find than say, leather armor or even chainmail.
  • Item types have adjusted cost multipliers. Example: a +3 great sword is much more valuable than a +3 club. On a different note, +3 scimitars simply do not exist as their cost goes over the level 12 requirement due to an altered Item Level Requirement table. Specializing in a common weapon will be quite beneficial because you can find more of that item and often times, better versions.

Personal Loot

  • Gold is distributed as evenly as possible to every player in the vicinity. Items are randomly distributed.
  • If the loot bag or treasure container is still there, that means not everyone has looted it yet. Be sure to check!
  • Henchman will decrease the amount of gold and loot found.

Pick Pocketing

  • All humanoid creatures can be pick pocketed. Items that can be pick pocketed do not drop on death, so be sure to pick pocket them before they die to get bonus loot!
  • Be careful of pick pocketing guards and civilians, as they will turn hostile! If you are caught, try to escape and enter a different area. It is likely they will forget about your recent crime.
  • Players are immune to being pick pocketed.
