Utilities Toolset

The Utilities toolset consists of the following tools:

  • Create or Modify Land Cover Classification (.xml) Launches a user-friendly interface to create or edit a Land Cover Classification XML file for use in ATtILA.

  • Identify Overlapping Polygons Determines whether an input polygon feature layer contains overlapping polygons, and optionally creates new non-overlapping feature layers.

  • Process EnviroAtlas High Resolution Metrics In development.

  • Process NAVTEQ for EnviroAtlas Analyses Processes NAVTEQ Streets data from NAVTEQ geodatabases to optionally produced the three road feature classes used in the EnviroAtlas community-based metrics: Walkable Roads, Roads for Intersection Density Analysis, and Busy Roads - Interstates, Arterials, and Connectors.

  • Process NHD for EnviroAtlas Analyses Processes the National Hydrography Dataset's (NHD) Flowline, Waterbody, and Area features to produced the linear and areal stream features used in producing EnviroAtlas metrics such as the Percent Forest and Woody Wetlands in Stream Buffer metric (Fact Sheet). This tool allows you to process either a single or multiple geodatabases, as well as a single or multiple folders of shapefiles.
