fix: add bounds check for releases array access in dependency updater

Description:

Prevents potential runtime panic when accessing releases[0] without checking if the releases array is empty.

Changes

• Added bounds check for releases array before accessing releases[0]
• Returns meaningful error message when no releases are found
• Maintains existing logic flow for all other cases

Impact

• Before: Could crash with "index out of range" if GitHub returns empty releases
• After: Graceful error handling with descriptive error message
