Casting from the Oculus App

1. Make sure your phone/tablet are both on the same wifi. Make sure your phone/tablet has bluetooth enabled
2. In the Oculus app, make sure you are signed into the same account as the account you use to sign into the Oculus.
3. Make sure you are in the home screen in the Oculus Quest.
4. In the Oculus app, go to “Casting” in the right hand corner
5. Click the Quest you are trying cast from.
6. Click “This iPhone”.
7. Click Start on your phone/tablet
8. A message should pop up in the home screen on the Oculus asking for permission to cast. Click accept, and check the box if you don’t want to see the message again

A difficulty we encountered was when there were multiple Oculuses in the room and multiple phones. There is no way to make sure that a certain tablet/phone is paired with a certain oculus if the account on all of the phones is the same. In a classroom setting, we suggest having a single oculus mapped to a single account, and having each tablet signed into a single account.
