Testing changes in the Quick Look pipeline

  • QLF developer registered in desihub organization receive a Pull Request (PR) from Quick Look developers
  • QLF developer look at the PR to understand the changes, for example: PR #437
  • QLF developer switches to the desispec repository to corresponding branch in order to test the change
  • If the Quick Look configuration file changed as part of the PR make sure your qlf.cfg points to the right file
  • Run QLF using this branch run.sh script
  • Follow the logs to find any error and make sure the QA results are ingested correctly.
  • Answer the PR reporting your findings.
