Dimensions

PRU reports cover many aspects of European aviation and the principles/data used serve as a basis to compare with different regions around the world (USA, Brasil, China, Singapore.)

In order to design for such depth and breadth we need to organize our analytical datasets (i.e. the ones extracted from raw data) according to the following dimansions:

  • Time

    • year (EXAMPLES)
    • month (EXAMPLES)
    • day (EXAMPLES)
    • time od the day (EXAMPLES)
  • Airspace This covers aviation entities of interest for performance purposes, eventually to be used to aggregate/map according to the other dimensions.

    • Waypoint (? EXAMPLES)
    • Airport (EXAMPLES)
    • Route (? EXAMPLES)
    • Sector (? EXAMPLES)
    • AUA (EXAMPLES)
    • FIR (EXAMPLES)
    • FAB (EXAMPLES)
  • Area

    • Eurocontrol Members
    • EU Members (no scheme, RP1, RP2)
    • ESRA08 (EXAMPLES)
    • ANSP (EXAMPLES)
    • Area for comparison w/ others (EXAMPLES)
