Data, metadata and tables relative to the Italian PRA program funded MeltingICE project to sample the permafrost active layer in the Arctic.
The repository contains the following files:

- PRA_MeltingICE_table1.csv (the file containing the data reported in table 1 of the report, site coordinates and soil temperatures)
- PRA_MeltingICE_table2.csv (the file containing the data reported in table 2 of the report, average depths of the active layer in the three expeditions for each site)
- PRA_MeltingICE_table3.csv (the file containing the data reported in table 3 of the report, list of boreholes and recovered cores in the first expedition)
- PRA_MeltingICE_table4.csv (the file containing the data reported in table 4 of the report, list of sites and sampled depths in the second expedition)
- PRA_MeltingICE_table5.csv (the file containing the data reported in table 5 of the report, list of sites and sampled depths in the third expedition)
