Additional Cash Compensation
We want to make our compensation package as convenient, useful, and flexible as possible, so we offer the following options for how you can use it:
$1300 per year for each employee, time starts from the day you're hired. You can partition it however you want, and you can start spending it from the first day of your work with us. There is no limit to the number of applications for compensation.
- Your health insurance and other paid health services - compensation up to 100%. This includes any coverage of your choice, as well as payment for treatment at any clinic, fitness center, gym, pool, massage and sensory deprivation clinic (floating chamber).
- Training - compensation up to 100%. This includes training in any area that is directly related to your job, as well as additional English classes beyond the standard program.
- Purchase or upgrade of work equipment - up to 50% compensation. This includes buying, upgrading, or repairing your personal computer for work (provided you have not been assigned a company computer*), as well as an additional monitor, UPS and/or power generator, video-conferencing hardware (microphone, camera, headphones, accessories), desk, chair, sofa, or CO2 detector. Also included in this category is the mobile phone that you use to work (that is, you must have a mobile Internet package permanently activated on it, working Slack, email, etc.). This equipment will be yours from the moment you purchase it.
- Tickets for any travel - compensation up to 50%. Includes any type of long-distance travel (>100km in a straight line) for any purpose, including vacation, conference travel**, and whatever else. Only the tickets are paid for, and only for you personally. Combination tours that include both tickets and accommodation are not included in this category.
* if you have been assigned a computer from the company, its upgrade and scheduled repairs are at the company's expense, except for repairs of breakdowns caused by careless handling (falls, spilled liquids, etc.). The last category of repair is made at your expense, but can be compensated up to 50% (within the compensation package).
** if you make a presentation at a conference on behalf of the company, the company will bear all the costs associated with the conference, including tickets and accommodation. The report must be approved in advance by Denis Stebunov.
Contact Galina Nikolaevna or Olga within 90 days of purchase. You will need a scan or photo of the purchase receipt and a brief explanation of what the purchase was.
Three factors limit the amount of reimbursement you can get for a purchase: 1) how much you have left on the balance of your compensation budget; 2) the percentage limits on certain compensation categories (eg. 50% for travel); 3) your desire. If for whatever reason (eg to save the budget for something else) you want less than the full compensation possible for a purchase, you are free to claim a smaller amount (note - this decision cannot be changed later).
Refunds are only paid after the service has been provided, the journey has been made, or the purchase has been delivered and accepted by the buyer. With regard to purchases: if you return the purchased device to the store within one year of receiving the compensation, sell it, or give or transfer it to a third party for use, the compensation that was given for it is refundable.
If the purchase is made in a currency other than USD, the refund will be converted into USD at the exchange rate that existed on the Forex on the day when you applied for a refund.
The compensation budget is allocated for one year and is not cumulative (ie, the unspent balance is not carried forward to the following year). The year of the day when you apply for compensation determines what year's budget the compensation deducted from.
