  • Each group (design, contracting, commissioning, operations) to document the process involved with taking controls sequences from owner's inputs through operations.
  • Identify which steps are essential which are flexible, consistency across group interfaces (e.g. from design to contracting to commissioning to documenting and supporting ongoing operations – and what about control system updates?)

12:00 Working lunch and workshop
  • Report back from the four groups (5 minutes each) – option to call back in if available – then discussion of any discrepancies between groups to ensure development of consistent package useful at all stages.
  • Goal is detailed step by step process that describes how control system developed from specification and design, submittal, installation, programming, commissioning, as-built, daily operations, upgrades and support.
  • Identify key elements or aspects of design of tool that are must have's in final product.
