The assets tab contains all the assets you can download from the Unreal Marketplace.
An asset item looks like this:
- The image takes up the majority of the item
- The title of it is on the bottom and is black or green (if selected).
- The versions supported are shown on the lower right side of the image.
- Single Click = Select an asset, it will show you more details about it on the right side of the screen.
- Double Click = Nothing.
- Right Mouse Click = Context Menu.
- You can sort and filter your assets by using the Sort, Type, and Filter at the top right of the screen.
- Download & Create project = For any FULL projects, this menu will show up and allow you to download and create a new project.
- Download Q & A = Downloads any Q&A associated with this asset.
- Download to Vault = Download this asset to the vault.
- View on Marketplace = Shows this asset on the Unreal Marketplace.
- Create Project = Download the project and creates a new project from it.
- Install into a project = Click the arrow down to select which project to install it into.
- Install into Engine = Click the arrow to install to a different engine than the default one.
- Download = Download to the Vault.
- "X" = Closes the Asset information dialog.
If you do not login occasionally, your asset list will stay static. The only way the launcher knows about knew assets you can download from the Unreal Marketplace is during a login event. The "Refresh Assets" will force a login event if you have disabled the automatic login during startup in your settings.
