How to
There are two ways to create your custom AntCraft formicarium STL files:
If you're looking for a quick and simple way to start, you can download ready-made STL files from our community existing model library. These models are optimized for easy print and assembly and are all compatible together.
For those who want a more personalized touch or want to create and share their own design, you can generate a custom nest frame and design your own galleries and parts by yourself. This method gives you full creative control over your formicarium's layout.
AntCraft offers a variety of options and parts to make your formicarium unique. Whether you want different chamber sizes, ventilation options, integrated thermometers, or extra accessories, you can explore all the possibilities on the Options and Parts page.
Besides the 3D printed components, you'll need some extra materials to complete your formicarium, such as tubing, water containers, and ventilation mesh. Be sure to visit the Additional Parts page to get everything you need.
Once you've gathered all your parts, it's time to assemble your formicarium. Follow the step-by-step guide on the How to Assemble page to ensure everything fits together perfectly.
