It is an e-tutorial system that taps on gamification to make online tutorials more interesting and interactive! Attack on Tutor taps on a battle system, where tutors pose as boss minions against the adventurer students; students can deal damage to the tutors, by answering questions that were posed by the latter, correctly. They can also don different avatars, bringing forth different looks that represent their inner adventurer!
We are SoloQ, a three-man team from the National University of Singapore (NUS), School of Computing (SoC), and developed this project for CS3283/4 Media Technology Project.
SoloQ consists of:
- Lee Wei Zheng, Year 3 Computer Science Major
- Joey Yeo, Year 3 Computer Science Major
- Goh Yuan Tat, Year 3 Computer Science Major
We felt that existing systems for conducting online tutorials were not as engaging or interactive as they could be. With our background in Game Development, we decided to create a platform where online tutorials could be gamified, making them more interesting, while also rewarding students for putting in effort.
