How to add a new user as an OS Site author

- The new user's email address
- User 1 or Administrator privileges
- The URL path of the OS Site you want to modify
- Go to Administer > Users, then Add user
- Enter and make note of the username you select
- Enter the user's email address
- Enter a secure password
- Set Status to "Active"
- Set Roles to "vsite admin" and "vsite user" (D6: "scholar admin" and "scholar user")
- Navigate to the OS Site homepage you want to edit.
- Hover over the header and open the dropdown Configure link in a separate window or tab
- This is the node edit page for the OS Site node. Select Advanced Options > Authoring information
- Enter the new user's user name you just created, then Save
