Session Chair Guidelines

The role of the session chair is listed below:
- Introduce the next talk and speaker.
- Ensure that the talks are getting recorded.
- Ensure that the talks complete on time, as per the schedule. We will be having a timer app for this purpose. The speaker and session chair will be able to see the count down.
- Moderate questions to the speaker.
- Ensure that any rude questions are filtered out.
- Attendees will be given papers (during registration) to write down their question, and this will be submitted to the session chair. The session chair will approve the question, and the attendee can take a seat in the front row, and wait for their turn to ask the question.
- Ensure that the speakers have tested their laptop with the projector / LED wall.
- Ensure that the speaker is available before their talk, in the hall.
- Get the speaker to sign the consent form for talk recording.
