About this page

This is a list of places that Sandstorm community members should think about giving a talk. They're sorted by date of the event. If you can think of another conference or get-together where attendees would like to hear about Sandstorm, then please add it to this list!

Financial aid, and stickers, available

If you're thinking of giving a talk, but have any difficulty at all paying for travel or conference fees, Sandstorm might be able to help you out. Email [email protected] and we will see what we can do.

If you'll be at a conference, we want to give you stickers you can hand out to attendees. Honestly we might want to give you enough to hand out to every attendee. Email us at [email protected].

Always a good idea: A Linux or programming meetup (Anywhere near you)

As you can see on the Sandstorm Talks page, many people have given a talk about Sandstorm at a programming or Linux or sysadmin meetup near them.

If you made an app written in Python, give a talk about it at a Python meetup.

If there's a Linux user group near you, tell people there what you like & don't like about Sandstorm.

Email me [email protected] if you need advice on this!
