Storybook v8.0.0 initial merge

This PR represents the temporary v8 branch of Storybook, that is used as a target for any breaking changes coming in 8.0.

When we're getting closer to finalising 8.0 and we don't plan on doing anymore 7.x minor releases, we'll merge this branch into next, and next will be the branch for 8.0 prereleases.
