This is the first debian2docker release.
It supports the following hypervisors:
- KVM
- VirtualBox
- VMware Fusion/Workstation/Player/vSphere
- HyperV
It has the following features:
- Boots in ~10 seconds
- The ISO can also be used as a bootable hard drive image
- It can use persistent Docker storage set up by boot2docker
- It has full support for cgroups and swap accounting
- It's based on Debian jessie and it runs kernel 3.12.9
- It runs Docker 0.8.1
- It supports the BTRFS storage driver and enables it automatically for BTRFS partitions labeled
